Mohegan Sun Restaurant Week Giveaway!

Mohegan Sun is kicking off 2013 by having my favorite kind of event…a Restaurant Week, January 6th-11th! You’re probably only familiar with cities having Restaurant Week deals, not places. But Mohegan seriously IS a city in itself. In her recap of the Blogger Girls Weekend I attended in November, Julie of PB Fingers appropriately compared it to a cruise ship!

I’ll be making my way to Mohegan myself on the first day of Restaurant Week to test out the waters of one of their dining destinations I have yet to try, and am psyched to say that Maria will be joining me!

Still not sure which restaurant to try, but there are plenty of great deals and new-to-me (and the casino!) picks to choose from. Including:

  • Hash House A Go Go (Vegas location was featured on Man v. Food): HH Sage Fried Chicken & Waffles (two Sage-fried Chicken Breasts atop a Bacon Waffle Tower with Hot Maple Reduction and Fried Leeks) for $12.95
  • Ballo (OK I’ve been here before but am dying to go again): Four course dinner starting with Antipasti; Prosciutto, Parmigiano, Ricotta-stuffed Peppers. Followed by Pasta; Orecchiette, Broccoli Rabe Pesto, Pine Nuts, Cherry Tomato. Then Secondi; Scallops and Scampi, Polenta, Sopressata, Red Pepper and finally Dolce; Housemade Cannoli.   • Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse: Choice of salad: Classic Caesar Salad with Shaved Parmesan and Garlic Croutons or House Salad with Tomato, Onion, Baby Lettuces and Balsamic Vinaigrette. Entrée: Hanger Steak with Caramelized Onions, Shoestring Potatoes and Pinot Noir Sauce, Creamed Spinach with Parmesan crust for $20.13 per person
  • Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain: 20% off food purchase
  • Tuscany (another place I’d repeat-dine at): 20% off food purchase
